Perception of the Mental Image through the Poetic Image

Abstract

This research is under the title of «perception of the mental image through the poetic image», through which was shown how to recognize the mental image of the poet, in this regard the researcher specifically some principles and hypotheses, for example, what is the mental image and how the mental picture has been in mind, What is the poetic image, how can the perception of the mental image through the image of poetry and how it can be delivered to the recipient and reader, through which we can reflect and understand the feelings and intent of the poet. The purpose of this research is to analyze, examine and study hypotheses in the field of cognitive science. We have adopted the analytical descriptive method for the purpose of clarifying the concepts, terms and scientific subjects. The research, in turn, consists of two axes:

The first axis: the general form includes the study of mental image and how to delineate it in the mind, and how to recognize and know, so we have made a statement and clarified the work of both lexicon mental and mental model and study of information and characteristics of mental image and cognitive processes.

The second axis: the general form includes the study of the poetic image and the difference between the poetic and mental image, and in the poetic examples embodied we illustrate the process of perception of the mental image of the poet through the poetic image, and applied in some poetic models of the poet (Abdulla Pashew).
