Journalists Dependence on Electronic Tools for Journalistic Editing
A Field Study on the Editors of Kurdish Websites

Technological progress offers new opportunities for journalists to edit and produce media materials in a modern way and publish them in a variety of ways in a new media with us in these Websites. The new media letter influences in journalistic practices with a number of benefits illustrated in news gathering and editing through the use of modern electronic tools. Therefore, the aim of this study is to introduce the media of journalists' Dependence on electronic tools for journalistic editing in Kurdish websites. To achieve this objective, the researcher relied on the survey method using the electronic questionnaire form (Google Form). The study sample consisted of (67) male and female editors in Kurdish websites in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The researcher found that: Mobile phones have become a major tool in the practice of journalistic work, because most respondents use mobile phone applications in journalistic editing. They have also made the most of modern techniques for updating and correcting news. The editors of Kurdish websites have not been able to take advantage of the technology (attaching links), Therefore, this is a big gap in the field of electronic editing in Kurdish websites. While the respondents take into account the number of readers and the interaction of social network users in editing press materials, they pay less attention to the results of scientific research and the statistics of international sites specialized in website classification. The majority of Kurdish website editors %64,17 rely on the chat and group chat tool to exchange ideas.
