Author Guidelines

Authors can use this video to register and follow the submission process 

or follow the following guidelines:

1- It is imperative that the manuscript is brand new and has never been published before.

2- The outlining of the manuscript must be as follows:

• The title of the research paper must be written in the middle of the first page, in Bold and formatted in size 18.
• Below the title and on the left side of the page, the author’s full name (all three names), his or her academic title, address of his/her workplace, his and her email address.
• The keywords
• The Abstract of the paper in three languages
• The Content of the paper, literature review
• Conclusions
• Recommendations, if any
• Bibliography and references at the very end of the research paper.

3- The text should be formatted using size “14” in “Unicode” font “Adobe Arabic” for Kurdish and Arabic languages and “Times News Roman” using size “11” for English and other similar languages to English.

4- An indented 2.5 centimeters from the left margin is a requirement.

5- The manuscripts accepted for publication could be written in one of the following languages: Kurdish, Arabic, English, French, Farsi, and Turkish.

6- If the manuscript is in one of these three languages (Kurdish, English, and Arabic), the Abstract must be written in the other two languages, and the length of which should not exceed 150 words, limited for each one of the languages.

7- The research paper with all its charts, photos, graphs, and maps must not exceed (20) pages, however, only an extra (5) page would be allowed, and the amount of 7,500 IQD in fee will be charged for each extra page. This is to say, any paper with more than 25 pages shall not be accepted for review.

8- In terms of citing resources, and all other academic and scientific procedures, authors must follow the “APA” citation format. Please note that the author's last name and the year of publication appear in the bottom margin of the paper or any other citation methods are not acceptable; in other words; following the author-date method of the in-text citation is not allowed.

9- If the manuscript is a work of “Investigative Narrative”, the research paper should begin with a scanned image of the first and the last page of that narrative text.

10- If the research paper was extracted from the author’s Ph.D. dissertation or master’s thesis, he or she must clearly indicate that, and similar to any other research papers, they shall be submitted for assessment and review.

11- The entire research paper should be restricted within one single word file, saved under an English ID, and submitted via email to the Journal. Also, it is required that prior to submitting the paper, the author has paid the fees and received a receipt for that matter; otherwise, the manuscript shall not be accepted.

12- The research paper will be submitted to two different editors for review, upon rejection by one of the two evaluating editors, a third editor will be requested to provide their defining assessment.

13- After the manuscript was submitted back to the editors of the Journal, within which the author would review and correct proofs, they are requested to make amendments and edit parts of the manuscript, and they will have to do that within a week time and submit the final result via an email to the journal.

14- Authors are entirely responsible for the content information of their manuscript; they are taken liable and have the countability in regards to the quality of information, in other words, if writers fail to meet the requirements, in particular in the case of unacknowledged use of other people's ideas and materials, the Journal will have the liberty to cut all ties with that author.

15- Authors are responsible for carefully checking their manuscript before submitting for final review and acceptance by the editors, that includes proofreading, as well as punctuations and linguistic aspects.

16- Authors will have to pay the amount of 150,000 IQD, or the equivalent in different currencies, in order for their manuscripts to be received by the evaluating editors. Upon rejecting the manuscripts by the editors, the author will not receive back the aforementioned fee nor the manuscript; moreover, in this case, the author has the liberty to publish his or her paper elsewhere.

17- The editorial committee of the Journal have the liberty to reject any manuscript that does not meet the legal, moral and ethical standards.

18- The publication process of academic papers is entirely determined by the language and the academic title.
